Butterscotch Cheesecake
Ingredients
CRUST-
3 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter or
margarine
- 1/4 cup sugar
FILLING-
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 2 egg
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
TOPPING
Directions
1Preheat oven to 325F degrees.
2Combine crust ingredients.
3Press into 9 in pie pan.
4With mixer, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
5Add eggs, beat well.
6Add sugar and vanilla.
7Pour over crust.
8Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
9Turn oven off; allow to cool in oven.
10In small saucepan, on low heat; melt chips and butter.
11Serve cheesecake with a dollop of butterscotch sauce.
